FAQs

1) What does Paperloom Studio do?

Paperloom runs end-to-end document operations: PDF/Word/PowerPoint accessibility (PDF/UA, WCAG 2.2), InDesign-native accessible design, copy editing & proofreading, XBRL/iXBRL conversions, and targeted recruitment to scale these capabilities globally.

2) Do you only remediate, or also redesign?

Both. We remediate existing files and also build accessible-by-design templates and long-doc systems in Adobe InDesign, so exports stay compliant without endless rework.

3) Which standards do you meet and how do you validate?

We align to PDF/UA and WCAG 2.2 AA (including Section 508 where applicable). Validation includes PAC 2024 checks and screen-reader testing (NVDA/JAWS/VoiceOver), with logged issues and a remediation summary.

4) What are typical turnarounds and SLAs?

After a 5–10 page sample, we confirm complexity bands and SLAs. As guidance: 48–72h/100 pages (simple text), 72–96h/100 pages (mixed layouts), and 5–7 days/100 pages (heavy tables/forms). Rush lanes available subject to capacity.

5) Where do you operate and how do we start?

We support teams across the US, EU, UK, and India. Start with a quick intro and a sample (5–10 pages) + brand guidelines; we return scope, quote, and timeline. Workflows run under NDA with encrypted exchange and least-privilege access.
